The House of Symba operates as an independent business intermediary, supporting cross-border connections between Brazil and the United Kingdom.
Our role is focused on early and intermediate stages of engagement, where clarity, market understanding, and the right introductions are essential. We do not act as estate agents, brokers, financial advisers, or legal representatives, and we do not negotiate contracts or handle client funds.
All services are delivered in a structured, transparent, and compliance-aware manner, ensuring that clients understand the scope, limitations, and responsibilities from the outset.
Our Engagement Process
Every engagement follows a defined process with the following initial alignment:
We review the client’s objective, asset, or opportunity to confirm scope, feasibility, and suitability for cross-border engagement.
Formal Engagement
Once aligned, the engagement is formalized through the required documentation and payment of the engagement fee.
Research, Positioning & Introductions
Depending on the service selected, we conduct market research, strategic positioning, and/or introduce relevant counter parties in a qualified and confidential manner.
Direct Dealings Between Parties:
All negotiations, transactions, and agreements are conducted directly between the involved parties and their appointed advisers.
Fees & Payment Structure:
Our fees are structured to reflect the nature of the work and the level of commitment required.
Engagement Fees:
Certain services require an engagement fee, payable in advance.
This fee covers research, analysis, positioning, and preparatory work.
Engagement fees are non-refundable, as work begins immediately upon confirmation.
Success-Based Fees:
Where applicable, a success fee is charged only if a transaction is concluded as a direct result of our introduction.
Success fees are agreed in advance and clearly defined in the relevant agreement.
No success fee is due if no transaction is completed.
All fees are agreed before services commence and confirmed in writing.
Essential Documents Before Services Begin:
Before any service starts, the following documents are required, depending on the nature of the engagement:
Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA): Protects confidential information shared by all parties, including commercial details, asset information, and identities.
Authority to Introduce (where applicable): Confirms that the client authorises The House of Symba to introduce potential counter parties for a defined purpose.
Introduction Agreement: Defines, Scope of services, Fee structure, What constitutes a valid introduction, Limitations of liability, Governing law and jurisdiction
No introductions or outreach are made without these documents in place.
Important Clarifications:
We do not provide legal, tax, or financial advice.
We do not guarantee outcomes or transaction completion.
We do not represent either party in negotiations.
All parties are responsible for conducting their own due diligence and appointing professional advisers.
Our Commitment:
We operate with discretion, clarity, and professionalism, prioritizing well prepared engagements over volume. Our objective is to create informed connections that support sustainable, compliant, and long-term business relationships across borders.
